Q:	I brought a water sample and everything was perfect - I bought another clarifier and plan to backwash a lot hoping the fiberglass residue is just not rinsed out yet. I just went out to see if the clarifier was helping - the water looked green so I turned on the ionizer even though the copper level is at .4 and the pH at 7.0.
A:	Our system is incompatible with all water clarifiers which coagulate the copper and give the water green color. I also suggest backwashing only when the gauge pressure rises 6lbs. 2 and 1/2 min backwash, rinse and clear for a few seconds followed by a 2 and 1/2 min backwash rinse to clear which will purge anything in the filter itself.
