Q: | I brought a water sample and everything was perfect - I bought another clarifier and plan to backwash a lot hoping the fiberglass residue is just not rinsed out yet. I just went out to see if the clarifier was helping - the water looked green so I turned on the ionizer even though the copper level is at .4 and the pH at 7.0. |
A: | Our system is incompatible with all water clarifiers which coagulate the copper and give the water green color. You may download the owners manual from the ONLINE SUPPORT button using the password customer2007. I also suggest backwashing only when the gauge pressure rises 6lbs. 2 and 1/2 min backwash, rinse and clear for a few seconds followed by a 2 and 1/2 min backwash rinse to clear which will purge anything in the filter itself. |
