Q: We are purchasing a home that has an in-ground pool.  It is now being treated with chlorine and we do want to switch over to the ECOsmarte system.  We were wondering if we will need to drain the pool that has the chlorinated water in it or will we be able to use the same water.  I sure do appreciate your help in this matter.

A: Very rarely do we have to drain a pool with Ecosmarte-- only when a saltwater chlorine generator has been used due to the salt. Our natural oxygen will knock the chlorine out of the pool in two or three days and we want some protection in the pool while we put our ionization residual in at startup. You'll love the water with either model of the pool system shown at www.ecosmarte.com. As a new pool owner you will also like our 1-800-ION SWIM toll free support, six days per week. Don't hesitate to ask any questions you may have-- this is the best product on the market at any price.
