Cloudy Water
Cloudy water can come from different sources,
• Most common is the water is not at the levels it need to be.
- Copper .5
- PH 6.8
The only reason water has always been at 7.2 to
7.8 is,
Chlorine and Bromine must be between 7.2 and 7.8 to work.
Use Muriatic (Hydrochloric) Acid. and/or CO2 to lower PH.
Baking Soda to raise PH.
- Calcium over 400
Protects the Pool finish and makes the water
more
conductive, More Oxygen and Copper per Minuite
You will get NO
SCALE.
PH will be more stable.
- Oxygen (Oxy) 8 - 24 hours for Swimming Pools
Smaller Pools less, Bigger Pools more.
Occasional Pool Use less, Constant Pool Use more.
Clean Makeup Water less, Dirty Makeup Water more.
- Oxygen (Oxy) 2-8 hours (Spa Unit only) Spas, Hot Tubs and Swim Spas
Smaller Spas less, Bigger Spas more.
Occasional Spa use less, Constant Spa use more.
Clean Makeup Water less. Dirty Makeup Water more.
Too much Oxygen on small pools and spas can cloud the pool with Micro bubbles of oxygen.
ECOsmarte works with soft Oxidation
Chlorine will do a harsh Oxidation which vaporizes organic items less than 30 microns.
ECOsmarte prefers fine filtration
- ECOsmarte Glass Media in a Top Mount Sand Filter will filter to 2-3 microns, and will be easy to backwash.
- Zeolites in a Sand Filter will filter 3-5 microns (read the hyperlink page)
- Sand in a Sand filter will filter 50 to 100 Microns.
- Cartridge filter will only filter to 30 microns and need to be cleaned every Month or more. Best used only for above ground portable Spas.
- DE filter will filter to 2-3 Microns they will need frequent Backwashing and the reapplication of the DE powder to the filter grids after each backwash, A lot of work and maintenance.
With the Soft Oxidation of ECOsmarte will need to filter small Particles.
To do this we run water slower through filters than is the industry Standard.
Below is Three Filter installations, First is with a 1 speed over sized pump, Second is the new Multi Speed pumps and 2 speed Pumps.
Third and Fourth is to bypass part of the water to the Filter and Heater with 2 speed and Multi Speed Pumps
Fifth is to bypass part of the water to the Filter and Heater with 1 speed Speed Pumps
